Hallingdal Paraglider Club has several different flight starts in Hallingdal, and of the best ones are to be found in Liagardane i Ål.
This is due to the newly established start, The King Start, the thermal comes early and the good difference in heights.

Hallingdal Paraglider Club was established in 2006 and in May 2009 they arranged a successful Norwegian Championship in paragliding.

If you want to paraglide in Ål we ask you to contact Hallingdal Paragliderklubb in advance for updated information with regards to landing spot. Usually this is on the southside of the river, but to be completely certain, please contact the paraglider club.
